Our growing Lenders' Technical Advisory team has an immediate need for an Assistant Project Manager based out of our office in Los Angeles. You will engage with major Lenders and P3 Developers in LA and United States-wide. Our exciting portfolio of projects span across various sectors including heavy civil, transportation and healthcare. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play an integral role in the continued growth of our Lenders' Technical Advisory Team within the Toronto market and across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and complete site inspections including photographs in support of monthly construction progress services
  • Prepare and submit invoices, claims for progress payments, valuation of changes and analysis of progress and recommendation
  • Supporting in the preparation of proposals; and
  • Attend internal and external meetings as necessary

Skills and Expertise:

  • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience;
  • Extensive experience on construction sites
  • Professionally qualified is considered an asset: PMP, P.Eng (preferred);
  • University degree or equivalent; Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering (Civil, architectural, etc.)
  • Strong communication;
  • Proven strategic thinker; 
  • Passion for managing client relationships; and
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
